Give with your love hope to the Sun,
tell it men are going to unite.
Give with your love hope to the Sun,
tell the Universe “I am your friend.”
In a far away planet from a bizarre solar system
lives a strange creature that calls himself …
homo-Sapiens.
He is born, he yells, cries, sleeps, plays, tries… and learns.
When he grows they call him…
man.
The man gets angry, unangry, he behaves, repents,
some others betray, bribe, corrupt, prostitute, sell;
and the most powerful ones play war,
where man dies.
To those that don’t think like that, to the friends of the Universe
they call them madmen, fanatics, alienated, liars;
and they persecute them, torture them, crucify them, burn them, shoot them.
Give with your love hope to the Sun,
tell the Universe “I am your friend.”
You may think this is the product of my imagination …
It is not so.
Man is an extraordinary being:
he wanted to walk… and he learned to run
he wanted to fly… and he comes jumping from planet to planet,
in pursue of his ambition.
What can we do?
Chain him? Enslave him? Paralize him?
Brainwash him? Or kill him?
No, that’s what is being done since ever,
hence he has become small, hence his bad luck.
To change man, there’s a way so simple
that seems complicated:
we have to admire him,
in spite of all contradictions,
we have to admire him,
in spite of all the efforts that he may do for not deserving it,
friends from the Universe,
we have to admire him.
Give with your love hope to the Sun,
tell the Universe “I am your friend.”
Give with your love hope to the Sun,
tell it men are going to unite.
Give with your love hope to the Sun…
